Larea Edwards(The Flobots and Deep Pocket Thieves)  transforms classic Nutcracker characters, drawing parallels to local 5 Points  legends, presenting a heartwarming Christmas narrative deeply rooted in the African-American experience.

Tenia Nelson, Denver’s renowned jazz maestro, infuses the performance with her unique musical interpretation of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorns’ 1960 score, adding a touch of improvisational magic.

All new choreography from award winning choreographers. Constance Harris infuse Afro beats and an infectious fresh energy and Moon brings a dazzling new architecture of movement with an all star ensemble of dancers and performers.

Prepare to be enthralled by dazzling visuals, ingenious props, and a vibrant interactive setting.
