Workshops 2025

  • In this beginner-friendly class, movement artist Alex Milewski and collage artist Shieka Leslie-Eke invite participants to explore creative expression through both body and medium. The workshop begins with Experiments in Rhythm embodiment exercises—simple, guided movement explorations that emphasize flow, texture, and sensation. Shieka will then guide participants as they translate those experiences into a physical collage: layering paper, color, and shape to create visual reflections of their journey.

  • Led by Adolfo Romero and Alex Milewski. Explore self-mastery through the art of mask-making creating animal masks that represent your strongest, most empowered self. Then join in a movement session inspired by your mask—bringing your creative identity to life through motion.

  • Led by Adolfo Romero and Alex Milewski. Continue the journey of self-expression by completing your personal masks diving deeper into themes of identity and growth. Be apart of a movement workshop to shape your artistic voice into a shared performance language.

  • Led by Ashely Cornelius and Larea Edwards. Join us with a guided writing and creative journaling session with a poet. Then transform your words into music and song.

  • Led by Ashely Cornelius and Larea Edwards. In this final session, deepen the work from previous weeks by continuing to explore emotions through poetry and expressive writing. Developing your poems into short songs, layering movement and music into a culminating creation.
