well, it’s more like the “Not so” Silent Film Festival

The Independent Silent Film Festival- or the “Not-So-Silent Film Festival” has a unique history that stems from the challenges faced during the summer of 2020.

When the pandemic disrupted the performing arts industry, LuneAseas decided to pivot and collaborate long-distance with dancers and performers to create art videos that local and independent musicians could score.

This festival brings together various movement artists, filmmakers, visual artists, and musicians, fostering a dynamic, diverse, and global artistic community.

Previous participants include Wonderbound, dancers from Momix, dancers from Pilobolus, Six Degrees Dance (NYC), Pierre Gaiffe (France), Luca Di Bartolo (Italy), Evolving Doors (Denver), Life/Art Dance (Denver), Jeremy Speed Schwartz (NY), Yuuki (Japan), Anne Gart (U.K), Piotr Smolenski, Dave Huemann, (Baltimore), Rae McAlister (Washington), Cipriano (Boulder), Astin Lopez (Denver), Los Mocochetes (Denver), A.M. Pleasure Assassins (Fort Collins), David Wolh (Fort Collins), Tenia Nelson (Denver), Adam Bodine (Denver), Cerise Sprague (Fort Collins), among many others.
